While that most ridiculous of fake days is approaching, so-called Thanksgiving (I know, it’s a joke), it can nevertheless give us a temporal reference point for introspection for its symbolism. OK, you’ve taken all of one second for your inner thoughts on This Day. So its’ true, nothing more emphasis that symbolism as the turkey–the big turkey, that big rancid buttery dead bird stuffed with cheap sodium crap and preservatives. Mix in a few colorful autumn leaves on the table for old times sake, add some  dollar-a-bottle purple wine sap or yellow piss beer and there you have it– perfect symbolism.
