Yes, the Goldman-Sachs plague continues, and now with the backing of the U. S. government. “…The bottom line is that banks like Goldman have learned absolutely nothing from the global economic meltdown. In fact, they’re back conniving and playing speculative long shots in force — only this time with the full financial support of the U.S. government. In the process, they’re rapidly re-creating the conditions for another crash, with the same actors once again playing the same crazy games of financial chicken with the same toxic assets as before…”

P.S: Doesn’t Goldman-Sacks remind you of the evil cat in a Mighty Mouse cartoon? Right?

You can read The Great American Bubble Machine here.

” ‘ I just wrote my first reference for a gun permit,” said a friend, who told me of swearing [and therefore lying] to the “good character” [quotes added] of a Goldman Sachs Group Inc. [a criminal organization] banker  who applied to the local police for a permit to buy a pistol. The banker had told this friend of mine that senior Goldman people have loaded up on firearms and are now equipped to–”

*It’s OK. Really. It’s not just one meal: “…average individual Germans consume four cows, four calves, four sheep, 46 pigs, 37 ducks and 46 turkeys as well as 12 geese and 945 chickens.” Adds up to 1000 animals altogether. By the way, this adds up to almost as many calories contained in a Big Mac.

*Goldman-Sachs getting really rich–off that old black magic: corporate welfare:

  1. 10 Billion in TARP
  2. 11 Billion from the Fed
  3. 30 Billion from the FDIC
  4. 13 Billion from AIG

*From World Net Daily: “While mocking an explosive new book that presents internal documents showing it is a U.S. front for global jihad, the Washington, D.C.-based Council on American-Islamic Relations [CAIR]  is trumpeting a keynote speaker at its 15th annual banquet next week who was an uninidicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing investigation and who told New Jersey Muslims the U.S. government would one day be taken over by an Islamic caliphate…” Are we headed up this alley? Why are we taking in these radical immigrants? Are current immigration policies insane? Wait, don’t answer that.

*Stanley Crouch speaks of Tawana Brawley and  “why caution and skepticism should guide the reactions of all in authority whenever a potentially volatile charge of racism is made.”

*”Forget tipping and focus on the waiters. Especially those having sex in the broom cupboard…” It’s all in a day’s work in “the daily opera of madness.” (Note: I just hope they wash their hands afterwards.)

*So-called Princeton scholars say the Amazon Kindle shits, though not in so many words. I personally think it’s pretty cool, though it ties you to Amazon. Yeah, it’s like everything you do you do on the plantation; you can’t ever leave the damn plantation. Everything you read must come from the master.

*Now this is rich. Mexicans in Mexico are fed up with illegal aliens from Central America: “The numbers are over the top…They have invaded neighborhoods. They steal, they kidnap, they rape.”

*Looks like this whole episode with the kid in the runaway balloon was a lousy hoax by the family. What the authorities are going to have to do is get the truth out of this little kid. He’s going to have to be waterboarded.

*Somalian Islamist group al Shabaab publicly whips women for wearing bras; wearing bras violates Islam by constituting a deception. Some big questions for Islamic theologists:  How did they know they weren’t wearing bras? Does wearing a push-up bra mean more lashes from the whip?  How do Islamists contend with loose non-braed jiggling breasts when women are running from lecherous imams?

*I love the Fall Halloween season. But are  there such things as inappropriate Halloween costumes? I’m an extraordinarily open-minded guy but I think  these , for the most part, would certainly fit the inappropriate category.

*MSNBC’s Keith Oldermann (or Oldmanderbin or Oldderman or whatever) says Michelle Malkin is “the worst person in the world [at least for this week]…her total mindless, morally bankrupt, knee-jerk, fascistic hatred, without which Michelle Malkin would just be a mashed-up bag of meat with lipstick on it.” I can’t stand Michelle Malkin but a mashed up piece of meat with…gives hyperbole a bad name.

*Prisoner of the Taliban fanatics. “Living side by side with the Haqqanis’ followers, I learned that the goal of the hard-line Taliban was far more ambitious. Contact with foreign militants in the tribal areas appeared to have deeply affected many young Taliban fighters. They wanted to create a fundamentalist Islamic emirate with Al Qaeda that spanned the Muslim world…”

Great, not to mention controversial, piece by Rolling Stone’s Matt Taibbi on how Goldman Sachs has engineered every Financial bubble–including the internet bubble– since the Great Depression. Here.
