Incredibly the “modern state” of Ireland passes blasphemy law; in the process loses free speech rights, which forces me to paraphrase radio personality Bob Grant: it’s dark out there–and getting darker.  “Satirizing religion in any way, shape, or form, if it ’causes outrage’, is now a prosecutable offense in Ireland.
