Death Note

Family death ties… “The suicide note said it all: ‘I love everyone, but this is what I want.’ Anne Morell Petrillo left the note to her family before jumping off the Tappan Zee Bridge, a source close to the family told the Daily News yesterday. The 38-year-old daughter of slain newspaper heiress Anne Scripps Douglas leaped to her death on Thursday night – nearly 16 years after her stepfather took a fatal plunge from the same span after beating her mother to death with a hammer. ‘The murder set the tone for her entire life,’ the source said. ‘She had threatened suicide in the past, but no one thought she would actually go through with it.’ “

Update: “Despite signs that the economy has resumed growing, unemployed Americans now confront a job market that is bleaker than ever in the current recession, and employment prospects are still getting worse. Job seekers now outnumber openings six to one, the worst ratio since the government began tracking open positions in 2000. According to the Labor Department’s latest numbers, from July, only 2.4 million full-time permanent jobs were open, with 14.5 million people officially unemployed…” Article here (N.Y. Times).

Ever hear that Neil Young song about Spanish conquistadors, the one called “Cortez the Killer“? It’s about how the Aztecs lived in a kind of paradise until Cortez and his 150 man army virtually annihilated that “glorious CS006247kingdom” in what is now Mexico.

Here’s one of the pivotal lines, lamenting the arrival of the Conquistadores, before which  “Hate was just a legend and war was never known.”

As with most propaganda–and Young’s song was merely a symtom of  long standing propaganda saturated history lessons–the stuff longstanding myths are made of– that still predominate today–it is a concoction of half truths, and in most cases no truth at all. Look at this recent article by historian Hugh Thompson.

“…When the recently excavated pyramid whose finds provide the centrepiece of the British Museum show was first inaugurated in 1484, there were prisoners lined up for sacrifice stretching in all directions as far as the eye could see. Some estimate that 20,000 victims were killed over four days. The actual reign of the Aztecs was relatively short. They dominated the centre of Mexico properly for less than a hundred years before Cortés’s arrival. Driven by a greed equal to anything the Spaniards were to reveal later, they had mercilessly conquered neighbouring tribes under the direction of emperors who worked closely with priests — indeed some emperors, like Moctezuma, had previously been head priests…The smell and stench of blood at such mass ceremonies must have been nauseous. While the heart itself would have been burnt, each skull was collected on a rack; the rest of the body was flung down the steps of the pyramid, to be eaten later with chilli sauce by nobles or favoured warriors.” Article here.

The quote below is from another article, this one from the Daily Mail commenting on a recent London exhibition of  Aztec civilization.

“..Cortes and his men as they reached the precise geometric centre of the city, a huge plaza containing the Great Temple. From a platform high up on this stone pyramid ran steep flights of wide steps. The horror was that, from top to bottom, they were streaked red with human blood, while alongside them were rack upon rack of skulls. A rank smell of putrefaction hung in the air. It became clear to the invaders from Christian Europe that, in this otherwise perfect city of hospitable and well-mannered people, human sacrifice was practised on a massive scale. A stone at the top of the steps was where men – usually but not always tranquillised with ‘magic mushrooms’ – were held down while the high priest slit open their chests with a sharp blade made from flint or volcanic rock, and plucked out their hearts…” (Funny, in the Neil Young song, sacrifice is mentioned, but I wonder how the victims would have felt about this line: “They offered life in sacrifice / So that others could go on…”)

Montezuma’s Revenge, we could say, has been that the myth of his “paradise” would serve as real history.

Is professional wrestling next?

Yes yes of course we all know that cops are necessary for a civilized society. But we do need some standards; I mean we can’t be hiring guys with fascist tendencies who make the law and enforce it on the spot. Everyone’s seen the Rodney King video. When I first saw that I thought it was a terrible exception (yeah, even while arrestingcriminal bums like King cops must act professional). But it’s not. Undercover cop brutality videos are in the thousands, and what they show is only the proverbial tip of the berg. They seem to be getting worse and worse.

Here Chicago cops arrest a nurse because she didn’t run a blood test fast enough on some DWI suspect (article here):

I love this line: Los Angeles (AP): “The chickens have come home to roost for Los Angeles city dwellers who keep roosters.” Trying very had to avoid political incorrectness status by not mentioning who exactly is keeping roosters in the city, the line (god bless it) does its best to invite us to read between the words (after all, looks what’s happening to Lou Dobbs). Yes, I’m afraid LA is very near official third world status. The law will now allow only one rooster to a household (good luck!)…The law was given some impetus (finally) by complaints over noise and hygiene and concerns over illegal cockfighting. Look next for LA to be forced to ban bullfighting in its parks….Imagine LA in twenty years…er, on second thought, don’t. Read article here.

Very instructive. Remember, for educated muslims, Islam is not a religion anymore; it is an ideology of group empowerment.

“…Some preliminary statistics. First, blacks commit an inordinate amount of violent crime. In 2005, for example, blacks were seven time more likely than whites to commit a homicide. Second, blacks themselves are typically the victims of this violence—between 1976 and 2005, 94 percent of all blacks killed in a homicide were killed by other blacks. In 2008, homicide was the leading cause of death for black males aged 10-24 and the second leading cause of death for women of that age. This pattern is true for other violent crimes—it is largely intra-racial with blacks across the board disproportionately being both perpetrator and victim. This damage far exceeds personal harm, though that is horrific enough…” Article here.

Sadly, America is not the future, or rather the future of America mostly lies in becoming a multicultural hodpodge of cultural/racial battles, endless rifts between competing groups, an oppressive ever-increasing Third World spiral of legal and illegal immigration, a place where corrupt Wall St banks and Washington  politicians continue rulling dangerouly inflating money spickets. The future is China. Go East, young man and woman, go East. Though competition is gradually rising in China many young Americans are doing just that, getting out now while the getting’s good. Take Mikala Reasbeck.

” When the best job Mikala Reasbeck could find after college in Boston was counting pills part-time in a drugstore for $7 an hour, she took the drastic step of jumping on a plane to Beijing in February to look for work. A week after she started looking, the 23-year-old from Wheeling, West Virginia, had a full-time job teaching English. “I applied for jobs all over the U.S. There just weren’t any,” said Reasbeck, who speaks no Chinese but had volunteered at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. In China, she said, “the jobs are so easy to find. And there are so many…”China is really the land of opportunity now, compared to their home countries,” said Chris Watkins, manager for China and Hong Kong of MRI China Group, a headhunting firm. “This includes college graduates as well as maybe more established businesspeople, entrepreneurs and executives from companies around the world.” Read article here.

“My favorite line from The Simpsons, FOX’s long-running comedy: Play the race card … play it! Homer Simpson demands it from his lawyer as a court case against Simpson appears all but lost. It’s a great line because our yellow-skinned hero got himself into his predicament — and it had nothing whatsoever to do with race, of course. It’s not unlike the comedy act coursing through the public square today — except I’m not laughing. And neither are countless other Americans being broadly accused of racism for daring to critique black politicians.” From here (Pajamas Media). Muslim teen, wtih the help of the ever resourceful EEOC, sues Abercrombie & Fitch because they won’t consider hiring  her because she wears a head covering, known as a handkerchief hijab. How about if she had applied for work in a full burka with face mask? How about if she had been hired and insisted on prayer five times each shift? What if she wanted to refuse talking to men coming in the store–you know like answering sales questions– something that would certainly, it seems fair to assume, would put a damper on sales? By the way I wonder if the PC EEOC would be so zealous if a Christian wanted to wear, oh say a cross in a Muslim owned store or how would they feel about taking up the case for a follower of the late Jim Jones of the Peoples’ Temple (remember Guayana) who insisted on wearing a vial of kool-Aid around her neck? How about a fanatic of Yoga who insisted it was his religious right to controt his body and wrap one of his legs about his neck while chanting? There really is no end to the madness of this society anymore.

Another date rape claim fiasco…

This is why, guys, if you are going to have a CONSENSUAL sexual relation “with that woman”  than there is one basic thing you need to know: if this woman becomes disenchanted with you, if you neglected to followup on the relationship, or if she feels she had made a mistake in having sex–there’s a thousand reasons–she may charge you with rape. This present case of an alleged campus rape is typical of what can happen.

“Late [last night] … the alleged victim of the sexual assault admitted that the encounter that took place early Sunday morning was consensual,” said Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice.  “Innocent until proven guilty!” shouted an elated Kevin Taveras, 20, a Cablevision worker from Brentwood, LI, after walking out of jail. “I’m so happy. I’m glad to be going home.”His 19-year-old step-brother, Stalin Felipe, said that although he was “very happy the truth came out, I’m still embarrassed. “We were in jail for over 22 hours and we had to sit there and see our names on TV blurted out calling me a rapist. “I have no comment for that girl.” The four were arrested after 18-year-old freshman Danmell Ndonye made her ugly, false accusation. The fifth innocent person she accused was never arrested and his name was not released. Taveras and Felipe, along with Hofstra senior Rondell Bedward, 21, and Jesus Ortiz, 19, were all charged with first-degree rape. They’d been held in lieu of $500,000 bail and faced 25 years in prison if convicted. At least one of them had received a death threat through his lawyer. “I got a call from a blocked number saying I should keep my f—ing client off the campus. He’s a dead man,” said Taveras’ lawyer, Victor Daly-Rivera. Story here.

Though ideally she should be sent to prison for at least fifteen years this woman will no doubt not be charged with anything that will require jail time, whereas those she had accused would have faced years in prison. Their lives are already poisoned. Listen, this is why you should save your money and periodically acquire the services of a high class prostitute.

Remember the Duke case? (Here’s another overview.)

Thus spake Zarathustra Jimmy Carter: “I think an overwhelming portion of the intensely demonstrated animosity toward President Barack Obama is based on the fact that he is a black man, that he’s African-American…” yada yada yada…the drone of the Liberal elite. It seems anyone who disagrees with Obama is a racist. Evidently just looking at the president the “wrong way” can produce accusations of racist thought. Liberals will point out the deeper meaning behind an otherwise innocent turn of phrase. Thus when Senator Wilson shouted out that Obama was a liar he is now being locked in with the racist label. What Wilson did was ill-mannered at worst.  Was there racism behind his outburst? Who knows. I do know this though– these Libs cannot read minds; they do not know what someone is thinking when it comes to race. But I think we know what’s really behind such accusations. Self-righteous Liberals, especially the kind represented by the finger-pointing former President,  are merely trying to cover up their own racist views (now I’m going to read minds). By flinging out the racist epitaph at every turn, at every phrase and word,  they ease their own racist conscience. And where does that racist conscience reside? Deep…deep down there in the R-complex. Maybe even a couple of levels above that. They have to struggle everyday to keep it in its hidden place. Every time a racist thought bubbles up like yellow pus in their grey matter they must accuse someone else of racism. Not only are race-bating Libs keeping society from looking beyond race, they are defiling language. See War of Words

Take New York. No, you are not alone, not by a long shot even on these cold, anonymously crowded concret sidewalks. You are among the thousands of murder victims over the last six or so  years. No matter what race, gender or age you are, you’re in damn good social company:

If you’re black then you are among 61% of victims; hispanic, 27%, white 8%; Asian, 4%. Who commits these crimes? Interestingly,  the perps-to-victims ratio is almost exactly the same as that for victim percentage: 61% black; 29% hispanic; 7% white; 3% Asian. As you might expect most murder victims are commited by men, 83%; women–17%. Again the ratio is very close to the victim percentage: 92% and 8% respectively.

Can we conclude that most kill from their own group? Even perp-victim percentages hold up, at least roughly, with age differentiation: Under  the age of 18 the victims were 8%, the perps 9%.

Of course if you’re murdered it doesn’t really matter who from what group did it, or how hold he/she is, or what gender: on the purely personal bottom line you’re dead meat.

You can view this interactive chart in the NY Times.

“…It seems that many illegal immigrants from Mexico are returning to their hometowns, and the officials in the Sonora state government are ticked off about it. A delegation of nine state legislators from Sonora was in Tucson recently to say Arizona’s new employer sanctions law will have a devastating effect on the Mexican state.
